Christina Thayer Fox

christinaplaying-web.jpgChristina Thayer Fox received her B.M. from Oberlin Conservatory in 2003, having studied with Peter Takacs and Antonio Pompa-Baldi. In that year she also  won the Yamaha Young Performing Artist Award. She received her M.M. in 2005 from the University of Michigan and in September 2007 took second prize at the Third International Piano Competition, “The Muse” in Santorini, Greece.

In 2008 Ms Fox was graduated from the University of Michigan with a D.M.A. in Piano Performance and Pedagaogy, having studied with Arthur Greene. Christina is a passionate teacher, chamber musician and outreach performer.

    i like chopin. i am 54, and i learned to play piano last year. i try to play chopin’s waltz in a minor. i litsened diferent performs of waltz in a minor on the web, and i believe i like yours.

    I have been playing since i was 6 and i am 13 now..
    i have played this piece before and i was looking on line for some sheet music

    hahahaha…like i said. i have played this piece several years ago and i just printed the music and played it right away..:) lol
